The South London Rapper they call Boy Sayso has been going through a lot lately.

The seeds have been growing inside for a long time and its only after a few troubled years that the roots has started to see daylight.

Homelessness, mental health issues, relationship breakdowns and money problems all influenced the songs that he genuinely writes but he knew things had to change. The first major change for Boy Sayso was to ditch his old musical sound of Drill and hardcore rap for a more jazzy RNB and afro chilled vibe.

After 4 independent EP releases in as many years and many life changing events things are starting to blossom for the south London rapper.

The ship that he has sailed over the years has started to steady itself on the waves of past bad choices and now has direction . Over the last 3 years Boy Sayso has featured in 3 movies released on Amazon, numerous music performances around the UK , appeared on Radio BBC London, the Guardian and 1xtra and is only getting warm.

Now on his 5th EP entitled ‘The Crossroads’ about to drop we see a much more mature vibe as he develops his relationship with Jazzy RNB with songs like ‘PlanA , Grief, Way B4, Unisex and Grapes ad Berries taking centre stage.. and oh, did we forget to mention he has a new found love for everything rum.
