Three years have flown by since Boy Sayso declared himself a solo artist after the breakup of 'The SmokeyBoys' Drill duo. Since then many things have happened in the world and to us all which needs no explaining. But among the many changes is Boy Sayso's development as an artist. From the drill scene he has firmly rooted himself into jazz, RNB, rap fusion and has now has his third EP entitled 'The Back Door'. A blend of mental conscious songs and street life stories sat on a bed of sampled and live drums, bellowing baselines as well as analogue synth sounds.

In search of clarity in a world full of changes and imbalances and a lack of trust are some of the topics to expect, Boy Sayso is now finding different ways to manoeuvre, adapt from distractions whilst looking for meaningful life experiences. Going through this path called THE BACK DOOR is the metaphor for a different way and that's what you will get with Boy Sayso on his third EP out April 27th 2023. on ll streaming platforms
